I was having lunch, when my husband came and told me that Mrs. J committed suicide…I wasn’t able to swallow…I was shocked at the news because we were neighbors back in 90s…she had two beautiful daughters…I will not say that we had great family relation but we always knew each other…we spent quite a good time together…I don’t know how much you can understand this but it shook me a lot…
I am feeling as if somebody is choking my heart…I wanted to hug her elder daughter who has suffered from a traumatized marriage for months in US…somehow Uncle got her back to India…and Aunty committed suicide…I mean WHY…
Everyone has ups and downs in their life…but it doesn’t mean that we should just put an end to it…life isn’t so cheap…at least think about the people who love you…how they will ever cope up with it…her daughter has suffered physical and mental trauma in her marriage…she was alone in the US for months…no one was there to get her out of that asshole’s trap…she needed her mom’s support but her mom decided to jump from 13th floor…
How could she commit this crime…her daughter needed her the most…now who will console her…she is in depression, fighting every day to come out of it…when she needed you the most in her life…when she was struggling hard to stand on her feet again…you just decided to cut all the cords…you know your this crap decisions has crippled her again…where will she go…she is 26…and you know that Indian society is so hypocrite…they can give respect to a 25 year old widow but they cannot give respect to a divorced girl…
Suicide is the worst thing to do under any circumstances…there are times when you feel completely lost…when everything and everyone is against you…you will like running away from life where no one can find you…everyone and believe me everyone has those dark days at least once in their lifetime…still don’t give up on life…it’s very precious…stick around …let it pass…believe in God, he has pushed us into this shit hole…he will show us the way also…just stick around don’t run away…don’t be a coward…
I have realized that most of the people who commit suicide…actually one mistake that they all commit…they cut themselves from society…we stop communicating with everyone and this mistake leads to suicide…because when you are sitting alone…you keep blaming yourself for everything…you keep thinking about the same thing again and again…
Now instead of doing this if they will go out and meet people…rough times would become easier for them…there are bullshit people out there, who will drag you in that Gutter…will blame you and taunt you…but there are also people who loves you and understands your problems…just stay with them…talk to them…they will not be able to erase your bad times but they will listen to you…don’t lose faith in them…don’t lose hope…
Aunty broke all the communication from the outside world…she kept blaming herself for her daughter’s bad marriage…and that lead her to take such a harsh step…I don’t know how will her daughter ever be able to come out of this mess created by her mom…but I will pray for her…it’s going to be very difficult for her to start a normal life again but it’s not impossible…she just needs right people around her…
NO matter what happens in life…don’t give up…there are many people around you whose life’s are fucked up since the day they were born…but they are trying to fix things from day one…in the hope that one day everything will fall into places…and trust me it does….
