An Open Letter…

Dear ___________

When you go through old albums…you will only find happy moments…but in between those moments there have been times when you have to work on your relation…the first year of marriage is a dreamland…afterward …Marriage becomes daily work in progress…but our parents never disclose this secret…and doesn’t matter…its love or arranged every couple goes through this phase…small things that you like initially will start irritating later…one day you love that person next day you hate them…sometimes we compromise willingly and sometimes unwillingly…there would be moments when you feel like giving up…when you will feel ‘I am done with him/her’…but don’t…stick around and things will fall into places…quitting is easy but staying and making things work is difficult…

You must be thinking why I am saying all this to you…frankly speaking I don’t know but I guess you will listen…or maybe I don’t want a beautiful girl like you to lose her charm and identity…

It was a pleasure meeting an interesting person like you…

Good luck for future…

May you have a rocking career…

May you have an amazing married life…filled with love and prosperity…

May God Bless You…

Love ❤ AARYA

Why Did I Get Married???

Few days’ back one reader left a comment ‘Why did I get married???’…strange thing nobody ever asked and I never answered…but reader gave me a reason to write…

Well I didn’t got married because I was in love…that’s a usual response but I am not a usual girl…I got married because…he is the first thing I want to see in the morning till my last breath…I want him in every second of my life…while writing this I want him to sit next to me…I love to groove on his tunes…he makes night dreams bearable…I want him to be there in ups & downs of life…I want him to hold me when I tumbledown…I want him to be around when I achieve something…I want him to be part of my happiness…I want him to be the reason for my happiness…and guess what…he is…yes he makes me smile in the worst times…he brings sparks to dull routine…people say for how long???…true for how long…well until we become the same old boring couple…we will make every day every moment count…he is worth dying for…I want him because he makes the life worth living for…if you call this love…well I am deeply and madly in love with me…I am head over heels…

Grandparents…our greatest blessings

This week’s WOW Prompt is actually WOW…we have to write about our Grand Parents…

Hmm…where shall I start from???…lemme think lemme think…alrighty I will start with my Nana Nani (maternal grandparents) …my Nani (grandmother) can be the coolest Nani in India…no I am not exaggerating…grandparents can be cool in India too :)…she will hang out with us in malls, she will accompany us for shopping even at weird places…she will hog every food item available in the food court…yes you heard me right…my nani is a big foodie and an amazing cook…she is totally fine with Chinese, Italian or Mexican or any other mouth watering cuisine…but conditions applied…it has to be vegetarian 😉 …my nani is also a 3 am Maggi Hogger 😀 …how do I know that well few years back something funny happened during my mama’s (maternal uncle) wedding…four hours of dancing in 6 inches high heels later my cousin & I was dead tired and hungry at 3 in the morning…so we decided to sneak in the kitchen and have a quick bite…in Bareilly’s chilly night in the month of December…Maggi was the best option available…we started snooping around for a suitable pan…suddenly a voice came from the bedroom next to the kitchen…first we thought we were imagining…because nobody would be walking around so late in night…but two minutes later when the voice called us out…I rushed in the room and saw my nani sitting on the bed and said ‘Agar maggi bana rahe ho to taniku hamare liye bhi bana lena’ (If you are making maggi count me in) I gave her goofy smile and went straight to the kitchen to add one more packet of maggi in the boiling pot 😀

And what shall I tell you about my nanaji (grandfather)…he is man of virtues…if you want to define character…it’s him…I remember when my mom disclosed about my love marriage…he didn’t speak to me for two years…I missed his blessing his love & care…but gradually when he realised that Vicky isn’t all that bad 🙂 my nanaji was back to normal…last winter when he had severe angina pain with eighty percent blockage…I cried alone in the secluded corner of the house…everyone thought he will not survive…as no cardiologist were available in the Bareilly…he travelled all the way to Delhi in an ambulance and got his bypass done two days later…when doctor said he is out of danger then I let go of my fear…I remember how he used to take me to mela and for pani puri and tikki …now I don’t visit my native place every year the way I used as a child…but those memories are still fresh…I guess I will give away anything to relive those moments 🙂

Unfortunately I didn’t get enough chance to stay with my dada dadi (paternal grandparents)…my dadi (granma) passed away when my dad was 9…and my dadaji (granpa) passed away when I was 13…but I do have fade memories when he used to make earthen toys for me…he was a very fine earthen toy maker…it was his hobby…he only wore whites…white dhoti, white kurta and white Nehru topi :)…he was seventy when he passed away…he was healthy as horse then he fell ill and passed away…he was a farmer and illiterate still he had an open attitude towards life which we hardly find in the educated ones…I regret his untimely death…I wish he would be around to narrate more stories about his youth and childhood…

I miss bed time stories…those kulfis & jalebies…I feel a person is blessed if they have grandparents…they are the life savers when parents are behind our backs with a chappal in hand :D…they are there to spoil us, love us unconditionally, to teach us life’s lesson…and how can we forget those huge gift boxes and the money which we get on every single visit… and those blessings which works like a safety net during hard times…

I hate myself for not being able to spend enough time with them…but I feel blessed to have them in life…I know many people who never saw their grandparents…I guess I am lucky too…and weird thing is I never worry or cry for my parents ill health…but a rise in their BP make my heart skip a beat…no words to express my love for them…whatever I am wherever I am it’s because of them…

I guess I will say good bye to you all…as my back is on toss so can’t sit anymore…caio…

The reason grandparents and grandchildren get along well is that they have common enemy – Sam Levenson

V DAY in QUIRKY ISTYLE

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a Quirky Way…HOW???

IS IT POSSIBLE???…well…when there’s a will there’s a way 😉 this weekend Blogadda want us to write a fun, quirky blog post and give other people some amazing V-Day ideas!…so here comes the quirky tips for quirky people like you and me 😉

Book Hotel Room in YOUR CITYluxury-hotel-rooms-pamilla-cape-townAccounting year is about to end…and boss becomes really fussy about taking an off…so going for a long weekend is totally out of question…but but but…you can definitely check in any hotel of your choice in your city…I know you must be thinking it’s a crazy idea…but no its one of the best way to revive the romance…a change of place can get you in mood…you don’t have to be bother about cooking and cleaning…all services would be just a caaalll away…and you can give your cent per cent attention to your lover…believe me it’s worth trying 🙂

Next thing on my list would be KNIKY LINGERIE ju7u0hcoall you girls…set your bedroom on fire…hop hop hop…buy some KINKY LINGERIE…believe me…your man wouldn’t be able to get his hands off your body 😉  …and wearing anything KNIKY will not make you a pimp…it will just set the mood and bedroom on fire for few days or may be for weeks 😀 …in fact your man will stop fantasizing SUNNY LEONE…because his personal vamp is just a call away 🙂 …in my option if your relation is in recession period…try this…

COUPLE SPAshutterstock_60262510…all you overworked couples…exhausted because of long week…then sign up for couple spa in nearby RESORT or HOTEL…relaxing massages, aromatic and soothing atmosphere will not only rejuvenate your body but your mood too…so take a break from your hectic schedule and ignite the romance by relaxing your muscles 🙂

BECOME A MASSEUR phm5…yup you heard me right…watch couple of videos online…learn the quick basics of massage…rush to market and buy Aromatic Essential Oils for Massage…lavender and vanilla (would be my personal recommendation)…set the right environment…switch the lights on dim mode, light scented candles, some flowers and you are good to go…you can enjoy an erotic spa session at home…give holiday to your maid and order food get it home delivered…

This one is my fav…FAMILI TIME 🙂 Bobs-Burgers…spend quality time with family and cousins…you can cook together clean together…you can prepare some family games like tambola or musical chair etc. well in advance for all age groups…and have gala time with your loved ones…

POTLUCK WITH FRIENDStumblr_lzau4nqrQm1qdg1ofpotluck is one of the best way of hosting a party…invite your friends with their better halves…decide menu and divide among all…host can plan out some naughty couple games, dance or bonfire…suit yourself…but V DAY  can be a best day for socializing…

OooLalalaaa…RED ROOM OF PAINfifty-shades-red-room…If you like experimenting in your bedroom…then become bold like Christian Grey and enter the red room of pain with your girl…set the mood on fire and rock the bed 😉

Or you can prepare five course dinner at home…set a romantic environment with sensual music and enjoy dancing and dinner at home…don’t forget to dress up for the evening even if you are at home…

Or you can celebrate it with your besties…spend the entire day gossiping and eating then some more gossiping and eating till you are exhausted 🙂

Well over the years, I have lost interest in celebrating V DAY …maybe because of the age or maybe because I have understood the real essence of love…I don’t believe in expressing love on V DAY  or taking an off on V DAY  so that I can go for an exquisite dinner or enjoy a vacation…just like life cycle or economic cycle…relationships too have a cycle and if you feel that your relation is going through a difficult time…go ahead and take a break…don’t wait for V DAY  to express your true feelings…try any of the above stated quirky stuff…or if you have some better don’t forget to share below in the comment section : )

Till your relation reach this stage…have a romantic V DAY with your loved ones…Happy Valentine Day ❤ ❤ ❤

Love ❤ AARYA

PS…Don’t forget to use condoms if you don’t want trouble nine months later 😉

And don’t exchange partners because that’s not QUIRKY that’s TACKY
