Friends Forever…

Dear Veda

Hope this letter finds you in the pink of health…do you remember we used to write this tacky line in every letter in English Language Exam 😀 …but I really hope this letter finds you in great health…I don’t know where to start from…last year your life went upside down…when a beautiful angel walked in your world…I still remember the day when you told me you are pregnant…I cannot tell you darling how happy I am for you…however, I am still angry that you told me so late…how could you do this to me…I don’t want kids doesn’t mean I would be angry with you if you want to have one…

Your life is changing…hours and hours of chatting and video calling has been taken over by Mahi…you remember the last time when we were on Skype…this naughty girl of yours was throwing all kinda tantrums to get attention…you know a lot has happened in the past year…and today I am quite firm about my decision of not having kids…yeah yeah you can give me a long lecture on benefits of having babies later…I just want you to know I miss you at times…when I want to have some sensible discussion I miss us…when I see two girls in trail room I miss us…when I see two girls laughing out loud in a movie theatre I miss us…when I see two girls in a secluded corner of the coffee house, lost in deep conversation I miss us…I miss those carefree days…when we were just us…I wish we can go back in time and relive those times…

Time flies…and that too very fast…things would be different…you are a mother…and she needs 247 365 days surveillance…so you don’t get enough time for me…you would be more occupied in the coming years…however few years later when Mahi would be old enough…when she would be learning and growing with her gang of girls…feel free to call me…till then live and cherish each moment of your life…motherhood is the most precious gift of god…and I want you to live it to the fullest…just keep me updated with her lol videos and pics 🙂

And don’t you worry about me…I am doing great…I know what I want and I am very clear about it… you know when I see these young kids at school…I feel nostalgic…sometimes I smile randomly thinking about the fun we had…time passes…life changes…priority changes…but memories will last…

I don’t have to tell you how much I love you…chalo…I got to go my tooth is aching…and stomach is grumbling…catch you later…and do I have to wish you Friendship Day 😛

Love ❤ AARYA

HAPPY MOTHERHOOD

Hello everyone! It has been so long since I wrote anything. Its been more than a year. I am on an incredible journey ,  the best one, I could ever have. I am talking about the journey of motherhood.

Motherhood was just a “Noun” to me until I started living it. This is by far the most challenging, thrilling, unpredictable, exhausting, enriching , enthralling, on job experience, for me.

It challenges my patience , my physical, emotional and psychological strength every single day. It fills and thrills me with the joyous candid moments. No one could ever challenge the spontaneity of these little ones. if you think you know them , this is the biggest mistake you are making then.

At times they could be the best boss you could ever dreamed of, or could be the worst one you can ever think of. They are very demanding, they want you to be perfect in introspection, prediction, disaster management, quirkiness, and your god damn presence. However they could shower you with the most expansive, most lucrative luxury that you can never attend until you own them.

Despite all those odds she throws on me, hers one smile, hers one sight, hers one hug, hers one babble , charge me up , cheers me up , pay  zillions to make my day……………

Loving motherhood………….. Hope you do tooooooooo

Did You Ever Get Lost.???

Did you ever get lost? Or got lost?

Yes…Yes…Yesss…

I got lost while playing in the park…I got lost in the delicious Mom’s Meal…I got lost while grooving on my fav tune…I got lost in my studies…I got lost in my career…I got lost in his voice when I heard him for the first time on telephone…I got lost in track of time when I was enjoying a long distance call with my bff in other part of the world…I got lost in the book I was reading…I got lost in his embrace when we made love…I got lost in the beautiful curves of Shimla…I got lost in Belgium Chocolate Cake…I got lost in my life…in you and me…but what I learned???…it’s okay to be lost at times in life…it’s okay if you can’t figure things out at the moment…being lost is route to finding yourself…being lost is a route to your dreams…being lost is a route to understand the world better…

So Did You Ever Get Lost?

Meri MAGGI…

Festive Season is here…and Indians got the Best Diwali Gift…Our Maggi or shall I say MERI MAGGI just the way Nestle like to address it’s one of the most popular product in India…MAGGI 2 MINUTE NOODLES…is back on the rack…

Few months ago Nestle MAGGI got into huge controversy…Food Safety Regulators from one of the state of India reported that MAGGI 2 MINUTES NOODLES contains high levels of lead and MSG (monosodium glutamate)…now this created a huge fiasco in country overnight…and gradually Government banned MAGGI across India…However, various lab tests were conducted in various parts of the world and finally MAGGI 2 MINUTES NOODLES were declared safe 😀

90s Generation of India has been brought up with Maggi…in our school days, we didn’t have international Franchises like McD, Pizza Hut, or Subway…all these Big Names walked in our life when we joined college…but it was too late…our generation already fell in love with Maggi…our quick bite was MAGGI…food is yuck, we had MAGGI…mom wasn’t well, we had MAGGI…hungry at 2am, we had MAGGI…afternoon munching was MAGGI

I know I must be sounding crazy…but it’s true…the world can call us MAGGI GENERATION…we have our crazy and fun loving MAGGI STORIES

When MAGGI was banned it was 90’s kids who got hurt the most…for us it was a huge loss…and today’s generation can’t associate themselves with MAGGI because they have loads of other International Options which we never had…

Today’s market is filled with tonnes of yummy options from chocolates to frozen foods…still my tongue palates crave for Maggi…it’s like you really can’t get over things that you had in your childhood…it’s a way of revisiting those memory lanes…those Me & Maggi Stories

I am so Maggi Generation…Love ❤ AARYA
