An Open Letter…

Dear ___________

When you go through old albums…you will only find happy moments…but in between those moments there have been times when you have to work on your relation…the first year of marriage is a dreamland…afterward …Marriage becomes daily work in progress…but our parents never disclose this secret…and doesn’t matter…its love or arranged every couple goes through this phase…small things that you like initially will start irritating later…one day you love that person next day you hate them…sometimes we compromise willingly and sometimes unwillingly…there would be moments when you feel like giving up…when you will feel ‘I am done with him/her’…but don’t…stick around and things will fall into places…quitting is easy but staying and making things work is difficult…

You must be thinking why I am saying all this to you…frankly speaking I don’t know but I guess you will listen…or maybe I don’t want a beautiful girl like you to lose her charm and identity…

It was a pleasure meeting an interesting person like you…

Good luck for future…

May you have a rocking career…

May you have an amazing married life…filled with love and prosperity…

May God Bless You…

Love ❤ AARYA

Why Did I Get Married???

Few days’ back one reader left a comment ‘Why did I get married???’…strange thing nobody ever asked and I never answered…but reader gave me a reason to write…

Well I didn’t got married because I was in love…that’s a usual response but I am not a usual girl…I got married because…he is the first thing I want to see in the morning till my last breath…I want him in every second of my life…while writing this I want him to sit next to me…I love to groove on his tunes…he makes night dreams bearable…I want him to be there in ups & downs of life…I want him to hold me when I tumbledown…I want him to be around when I achieve something…I want him to be part of my happiness…I want him to be the reason for my happiness…and guess what…he is…yes he makes me smile in the worst times…he brings sparks to dull routine…people say for how long???…true for how long…well until we become the same old boring couple…we will make every day every moment count…he is worth dying for…I want him because he makes the life worth living for…if you call this love…well I am deeply and madly in love with me…I am head over heels…

Handle With Care

Raghav closed the door and asked “Is everything alright?”

“Hmm…I want to say something before you leave”

“oh kay, I am all ears”

“Raghav, I said yes for your & Apoorva’s marriage because I can’t say no to her for anything…well she is a good girl but”

“Stubborn”

He chuckled “Yes stubborn but a good baby and always was Raghav…always was” somebody knocked and shouted on top of the voice “dad hurry up, Bidai ki taiyari ho gayi hai and have you seen Raghav?”

“Yeah he is with me…give us two minutes will you” he locked the door and started caressing picture of a baby hanging near the door and said slowly “when I saw her for the first time she was in deep sleep…I picked her from the crib scared my touch will wake her and then to my surprise she opened her big brown eyes…that moment still lingers in my heart” he closed his eyes as if reliving the moment and continued “she slept in my arms, I was enjoying her soft heart beats, her tiny hands, her tiny feet…I noticed a small tag hanging on her right feet on which ‘FRAGILE Handle With Care’ was scribbled in bold letters” he opened the first chest of drawer lying near the door and took out a box and gave it to Raghav.

“I kept it safe for last 26 years I guess it’s time to pass this on to its new bearer”

Raghav opened the box, a hospital tag was resting on the cushion…he got up and touched his father in law’s feet…and first time in past fifteen months he hugged him.

They opened the door before second knock and Apoorva was standing there…looking beautiful and radiant and ready for a new beginning she gave a hard look to both of them and asked “What are you two doing? Everyone’s waiting for you and what’s in your hand?”

Raghav smiled and replied with surety “It’s a promise”

Lunch Date…

Unplanned Moments are always better than the Planned Ones…

It started with a Lunch Date in Limbdi on Sunday Afternoon…but it ended with 1100 kms Crazy Long Drive…

Last couple of months were hectic for both of us…I was way too busy with my studies and Vicky was lost in his business…we didn’t even get time to talk anymore…so he asked me out for Lunch so that we can spend some quality time together…we were in the middle of our mouthwatering Kathiywadi food…suddenly Vicky asked me to go to Somnath which is straight 310 kms away from Limbdi…he said ‘we will stay overnight and be back by Monday evening’…I hesitated a little because we didn’t have any clothes or other necessary things for staying overnight…I didn’t even carry my medicine pouch which you will always find in my bag…

But by the end of our Lunch Date…I said yes…I know I know…without clothes…without makeup or freshen up kit…I just said yes…but that was the best part of our Unplanned Escapade 😉

We visited Kesar Mango Orchards of Talala…Mango is a famous tropical fruit which is very sweet in taste…and Kesar is one of the best variety of Mangoes…just for your knowledge majority of Mangoes from Talala are exported…now Indians are deeply and madly in love with Mangoes…it’s a summer fruit and we use it a lot in our cuisine…so like my fellow Indians I am also addicted to Kesar Mangoes…and visiting Orchards in this season was just perfect…trees were full of yummy mangoes…

Like I said we were supposed to be back by Monday evening…and we were done with our Mango Shopping by afternoon…so we decided to go via Gir Forest range and stopped in a roadside hotel for Lunch…no air conditioning…no designer furniture or decorated walls…in fact there were no walls…the owner kept few Neelkamal Dining Sets and chick curtains to beat the heat…but that was the best food we had during our small getaway…and it costed us only Rs 280…can you believe that???

Now the owner of that Hotel Safari…asked us to visit the nearby Anil Farmhouse…which bought a U turn in our journey…the Farmhouse was so green in color and we couldn’t resist ourselves from staying overnight…and the Riverside view of the room in which we stayed was just awesome…we were close to nature…there were thousand shades of green and that too in scorching heat of Saurashtra Region…well that changed our mood again but we did leave early in the morning the very next day…

No set destination…No clothes to change…just full on masti…going crazy in Kesar Mango Orchards…falling over the riverside view…the Wildlife…the Farmhouse…the Sea…the mouthwatering Kathiyawadi Food…nothing was planned but gave us the memories of lifetime…Thanks to hubby the great 🙂

We both are unpredictable…this isn’t our first unplanned small vacation…we had done it previously…people say being unpredictable and unplanned isn’t a good combo…but we believe sometimes you need to let go…you need to live in the moment…you need to get lost…and one day while wandering around you will find your destiny…

Here are few pics for all of you…ENJOY 🙂
