Happy Birthday Maa…

It was raining heavily outside which was totally unusual in the month of May…she was sitting on the ledge of her window…thoughts were camouflaging various things in her mind just the way rains were outside the window of her bedroom…thoughts or rains which was more aggressive it was difficult to say…

‘Why are you like this Dad? Why did you never loved Mom?…she was the best thing that ever happened to you…she sacrificed her dreams and life for you so that you can take care of your two brothers and sister’s education and marriage expenses…just because of her, both of your brothers are doctors and well settled…your sister is happily married…because of whom they are enjoying all perks of life…MOM…if she has said no for everything, your brothers must be roaming like hooligans and your sister would be getting beaten by some drunkard…

She took care of your family like hers…she loved your sister like her own…she saved her marriage which was on the verge of divorce…you never took care of her…you never given her anything in life…why Dad what did she do wrong???…you never respected her…she is the kind of woman anyone would die for…a great daughter, an amazing daughter-in-law, super sexy wife, a beautiful mother…but you always hated her…she fulfilled all her duties and responsibilities…but you always had a problem with her…you didn’t even stood for her when your younger brother insulted her & slapped her in front of the whole family…everyone shouted on him but you, you didn’t say a word…

Whatever and wherever you and your family are…it’s just because of her…but you always treated her like an insect…you didn’t have three times meals to provide her when you bought her home…but she never uttered a word…you never made her clothes, you never took her out for dinner or vacation…she never complained…she turned  your shit house into a palace…she did everything for you still you hate her…you wanted to marry her…you sent your parents at her place…you did everything to make sure she is your wife…and once you got married you started hating her…why dad why…if you hated her so much than why did you destroy her whole life…you never appreciated her sacrifice for your family…you don’t deserve a woman like her…

‘Ananya…fill the water bottle…iron my hanky’ her mother interrupted her train of thoughts…

‘Yeah mom, sure’

She wanted to get up but something was stopping her…dark clouds outside were reflecting her mood…pain was rolling down her face just the way clouds were letting out all the pressure…Dad you never loved her… agree that you never beaten her but your words are more harsher than sword…you left her wounded and bleeding…she is having severe health issues because of you…but you know what I don’t give a shit…Adi & I will take care of her…

Today it’s her birthday so we are taking her out for shopping, movie and dinner…we don’t need you to keep her happy…it’s too late now, that ship has sailed long ago…you can go to hell…you never fulfilled the responsibility of a father too…you just gave checks after checks for our education, shopping and other expenses…but you never guided us the way a father is supposed to be…

You know now I am realizing that why didn’t you never stopped me or slapped me when  I used to fight with her and insulted her day and night…because you wanted Adi and me to hate her…but you forgot that once we will grow up we will start understanding things…you can never earn the respect which a father deserve…but don’t worry we are not like you…we are never going to say a word to you because your wife wants us to give you respect…as of now we are going to make this day the most memorable for her so that she can have some more memories to cherish when we both are not around…you can sit at home and watch pathetic news channel of yours…We don’t give a shit…

‘Ananya, I am ready, let’s go honey’

‘Ya mom, coming’ she got up from the window…she noticed that clouds are disappearing and sun is visible…and a beautiful rainbow was forming just outside the house…she had the faint smile on her face…she ran downstairs wiping her teary face…she realized that she hadn’t filled the bottle yet and now her mom will start nagging…

‘You didn’t filled the bottle yet and why are clothes still in the dryer…you want me to go everywhere but you don’t want to do anything’ she started fussing around

Adi and Ananya looked at each other and smiled…they ran to her and hugged her and said ‘We love you so much maa…Happy Birthday’

I hope you enjoy it…Have an awesome weekend

Love ❤ AARYA
