She was thinking about joining Swimming Classes since many months, but she kept dropping the idea due to winters…but in March when summers kicked in, she finally decided to give in…

It was her first day and she was very nervous, still she had made up her mind that this time she was not going to give up…days flew and within a week she started swimming, not like an expert…but she was swimming without taking any break or running out of breathe…which was quite an achievement for a beginner…

Impressed with her performance, Swim Coach asked her, “You are doing good in five feet, I want you to go and try to swim in the 9 feet, I will guide you, Come”

As soon as, she heard the word 9 feet, she got scared; she said “No sir, not today, I will do it some other day”

He didn’t push her more because he thought it’s being only a week, she will get there…after two days, Swim Coach again asked her to go in the 9 feet…again she said no…

“I can’t swim in 9 feet Sir, I am scared of depth, and what if I drown…I am doing great out here” she said apologetically…

“But if you will keep swimming in five feet, you have to give Learner’s Fees every month instead of Swimmer’s Fees” Sir said…

“It’s okay Sir, money isn’t an issue for me” she said

After that Sir didn’t say her anything for next 15 days, all her other batch mates were swimming in deep water…and they have joined hands with other Swimmers of the pool…she was still in the five feet…

Next day, she was standing alone in the pool, and admiring other swimmers at the deeper side of pool…Sir was watching her from the other end of the pool…

He came to her and said, “Enjoying the view, don’t you want to be among them”

When she didn’t say anything for a long time, Sir said very politely, “If you will never try to come out of your comfort zone, you will never learn anything new and you will never grow” …with that he left for the other end of the POOL…
